Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Mesut Ozil’s performance for Germany against Georgia
Mesut Ozil’s performance for Germany against Georgia in the Euro 2016 qualifier this evening impressed the Arsenal fans.
Germany maintained their chances of qualifying for the 2016
European Championship with an easy 2-0 win against Georgia away from
home this evening.The European giants headed into the Group D qualifier at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi, and they found it pretty easy to pick up the three points.
Borussia Dortmund attacking midfielder Marco Reus broke the deadlock in the 39th minute, and five minutes later Thomas Muller doubled Germany’s advantage.
The win means that Germany are currently second in Group D with 10 points from five matches, level on points with leaders Poland but having played a game more.
Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil played the entire 90 minutes of the encounter and was impressive in his display.
The 26-year-old had three shots of which two were on target. Ozil also gave one key pass, attempted three dribbles, made two interceptions, and had a pass accuracy rate of 89.2%.
